The Beatnuts – Musical Massacre
“Watch Out Now” took them from underground favorites to the charts, its flute loop later flipped by Jennifer Lopez for “Jenny from the Block.” “Se Acabo” found new life years later on TikTok, but the whole album still sounds fresh. Corona Queens’ finest were one of the top production duos of the ’90s, and the beats never miss. The lyrics are hilarious and raunchy—just two guys having fun and not giving a damn.
