Third album from Redman, and the one a lot of people put at the top of his catalog. Production is mostly handled by Erick Sermon and Redman.
“Whateva Man,” “Pick It Up,” and “It’s Like That (My Big Brother)” are some standouts, but this is built as a full album rather than a singles run. Redman is locked in across the whole thing—funny, technical, and fully in control of his style.
The first two albums are classics in their own right, but rougher around the edges. Here, he lands on a balance between rugged verses and more accessible production without losing what made him stand out in the first place.
