Debut album built around the contrast between Bronx duo Greg Nice and Smooth B, with the group handling production themselves.
“Funky for You,” “No Delayin’,” and “Dope Not Hype” are some standouts. Greg Nice jumps in with quick bursts and ad-libs, while Smooth B stretches his lines out and keeps everything spaced. Two completely different flows, but they fit together cleanly across the whole record.
That contrast drives the album from start to finish.
