The 1996 follow-up doubled down on the bleakness. Havoc and Prodigy, still only in their early 20s, sharpened their formula into an even darker masterpiece — suffocating beats, dead-eyed rhymes, and a paranoia that perfectly matched mid-’90s New York. Tracks like “G.O.D. Pt. III,” “Hell on Earth (Front Lines),” and “Extortion” with Method Man and Raekwon cemented their rep as the hardest out. If The Infamous announced them, Hell on Earth proved it wasn’t a fluke — two of the rawest classics ever made by Queensbridge teens.
