Ghostface’s 2006 LP cemented his reputation as Wu-Tang’s most consistent solo artist. Full of cinematic crime narratives, surreal slang, and emotional flashes, the record has him rapping over soul samples (many from the vaults of MF DOOM and J Dilla). Tracks like “Shakey Dog” and “Whip You With a Strap” show the range—both street storytelling and personal reflection. A high point in a discography full of them.
