The debut album from Bronx trio Cru, packed with thirty tracks that mixed sharp rhymes, inventive skits, and gritty production. Before the breakout single “Just Another Case” with Slick Rick hit radio and video rotation, they had already made noise in the underground with “Bubblin.” Though underappreciated at the time, the album has gained respect in hindsight as a strong and creative late-’90s release that holds up better than many of its peers.
