Issued by Capitol as a 2×LP promo, this black-vinyl set is one of the more prized Beastie collectibles. More than just a label sampler, it’s stacked with heavyweight remixes from hip-hop royalty — Large Professor, Buckwild, and DJ Muggs (Soul Assassins) — giving alternate life to cuts like “Sure Shot,” “Pass the Mic,” “Root Down,” “Shadrach,” and “Get It Together.” Clean edits make it DJ-friendly, but the draw is the pedigree: a limited-run promo that captures the Beasties at their peak while handing the reins to some of the era’s sharpest producers. A must have for those who prefer the Beastie's more hip hop leaning songs.
