By 1998 the Beasties were already legends, but Hello Nasty showed they could still surprise. With Mix Master Mike joining the lineup, the record is packed with scratch-heavy futurism, left-field funk, and the trio’s trademark anything-goes humor. “Intergalactic” became the big single, but the deeper cuts — “Super Disco Breakin’,” “Three MC’s and One DJ,” and “Body Movin’” — prove how tight their chemistry remained. Playful yet razor-sharp, it’s the sound of a group stretching their palette without losing their core identity.
