Black Orpheus (Japanese title: 黒いオルフェ) is a celebrated jazz album by the Isao Suzuki Trio, originally released on May 20, 1976, by the legendary Japanese label Three Blind Mice (TBM-63). The album is highly regarded by audiophiles for its transparent recording quality, captured at Aoi Studio in Tokyo. It features a unique blend of soulful modal jazz and bossa nova, most notably on the title track, "Manhã de Carnaval".
